Languages

"Semmi sem jellemző annyira egy nyelvre, mint sajátos hangzása.

Olyan ez, mint a virág illata, a bor zamata, a zománc, az opál tüze.

Megismerni róla a nyelvet már messziről,

mikor a szót még nem is értjük.

Minden nyelvnek megvan a maga hangszíne,

tempója, ritmusa, dallama, egyszóval zenéje."

Kodály Zoltán

There is nothing as characteristic in a language like it's own sound.
This is like the flower’s smell, the wine’s bouquet, the glaze, the opal’s fire.
Thereby one is able to recognize the language already from a distance,
even if we cannot understand the word yet.
Each language has its own timbre, its tempo, its rhythm, its melody,
in one word, its music.   (Translation from Hungarian language.)

With many thanks to
Zoltán Kodály Institute and Duna TV
for their help to verify this text.

The listing of all these languages does'nt claim to be complete, on the contrary, I want to extend it constantly, but only step by step. To wait until everything is perfect would be the same as to say: "I will start to speak this language only if I do not make  mistakes anymore."

All these pages should contain tips, tricks, helpful particulars for almost each person who is willing or forced to learn foreign languages.

Everywhere you can read and hear how important it is to speak more than one language. The Internet is full with websites they are in reference with foreign languages and learning them.

Otherwise there are Websites like ebay, which are full with offers of materials of all kinds of learning them, with the remarks "only the first pages have been used" and whatever else the terms for abandonment of learning may be.

This we should change, together, effectively and lasting.
